Shawn Ready Strength & Conditioning offers 5 levels of training to choose from. These are based on conversations about what the athlete wants, needs and struggles that they have in their life and training.
As we all know, training can be hard, even when you are training for a specific reason! I build out all programs to fit what the athlete has and based around what they are comfortable with. Will I ask you to push the limits at times? YES! But this will always be with safety in mind and based around the goal you have set for yourself.
I will never tell you that you have to buy certain items. While I do have recomended items that I strongly encourage people to invest in, see my the recomended items tab! I will not require that you buy anything. But remember, just as paying me to program for you, equiptment is a investment in your future.
Finally, I’m not a Abs coach! I dont care if you have a six pack. You will never see me in a shirtless selfie trying to get likes on instagram. What you will get is a nationally certified strength and conditioning professional who understands all sports, all movement and all levels of training mentality.
5 Levels of Training Options
| Custom/ Elite Online Monthly | Standard Online Monthly | Weekly Elite/ Post Injury Custom |
| This is online programing that I put out weekly. It is based on the time of the season, event and what events you are entered in. I will have weekly check in’s to help me build out what you will be doing. This will be based on what it is that you are training for, what you have to train with and what your current level of activity is. This is very specialized but not the most in depth program type. | This is the most simple program there is. This is based on th e idea of being strong and moving properly. There is no custimization here. This is based on developing a strong core, over all strength and moderate level of conditioning. This will be fine for someone that just wants to be a little active and begin learning about movement and how to use their body! This is based around push pull movements with 3 days of training. This can be done by a proffesional athlete or a stay at home mom that wants to be active. Each person can get better but, will have to progress themselves with variety and weight. | Think of this as a very specific in depth programing to build out what you need to be doing post injury. While many athletes have the luxury to go to standardized physical therapy, others do not. This option is not availible to everyone. You must be seeing a physician for your current conditioning. You then must get specific orders from that physician sent to me directly. Based on those order and limitations I will build out a training program making sure to follow physician orders. |
| Single 6 Week Program Cycle | In Person One on One Training |
| Can athletes improve doing the same thing over and over! Yes! While some people will argue that training must be ever changing, I look at some of the strongest athletes in the world, Powerlifters & Strongmen/Women. Do they change their training up? Yes! but it is usually based on a 6-8 week cycle that looks very similar to the last cycle. They will change movements slightly or change modalities of training, but in general, you can become very strong doing the same movements. How does this apply to Rodeo? Most rodeo athletes have a very young training age. This is based on the years you have trained. Because of this, most rodeo athletes will see huge gains in strength and conditioning in a 6-week cycle. Repeat that same cycle several times throughout the year in an athlete with a low training age and they will not plateau like they might in an athlete with a high training age. While implementation must be based around the athletes competition season, the rodeo athlete can see huge gains from a one time blocked cycle. | This is the most in depth and comprehensive option. Its price will reflect that. As a coach I need to be able to see my athletes move. The only true way to determine if an athlete is doing the movement the correct way is to be able to put my eyes and hands on the athlete and correct deficiencies. Why is this important? In strength and conditioning an athlete can actually cause damage if they are not training the proper way. That is why I recommend all my athletes to come and at least train in my facility once. This will allow for them to learn the cues that I am looking for and develop their movement patterns the proper way. This is personalized one on one training based around the programs that I write. Any one on one that is currently on a training program will be discounted price. |
